Mark Shukhman, MD

Dr. Mark Shukhman has consistently been listed among the Top Doctors in Psychiatry by Chicago Magazine. He holds triple board certification from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, as well as the American Board of Addiction Medicine. Previously, he served on the faculty of the psychiatric board oral exam preparatory course. He has presented at international conferences and contributed a chapter on the use of LDN in psychiatry to “The LDN Book.” His professional time is primarily dedicated to research projects, medical writing, and teaching. Although he is not currently accepting new patients, he is available for consultations and second opinions.

Rebecca Shukhman, DO

Dr. Rebecca Shukhman is a director of Continuing Medical Education. She is board-certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. She has special interest in treating mood and anxiety disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety states, obsessive compulsive and attention deficit disorders. She understands the importance and value of a collaborative approach and is always glad to communicate with therapists or other physicians, as needed.

Jarret Helstern,

Proffessor or Mental Health, FNP-C, MCN, BSN-RN

Jarret Helstern is board certified in Family Practice and Psychiatric Mental health. He is an adjunct professor of psychiatry with Chamberlain University. While providing care and remaining active in medicine, he is about to finish his Clinical Doctorate in the Neurocognitive Psychedelic Modulation program with a focus on alternative treatments for depression including ketamine, psilocybin, and MDMA.

Jarret specializes in innovative treatments for disorders of mood, anxiety, bipolar, OCD, generalized anxiety, ADHD, and addictions.

Timothy Morrill

ARNP, CAP, ICADC

Mr. Morrill’s diverse experience in psychiatry and addiction medicine ranges from 20+ years of Air Force medicine and 25+ years hospital-based experience to holding a certificate in Christian counseling, Certified Addiction Professional and Certification in Alcohol and Drug Counseling. His special interests are adult and geriatric clients with disorders of mood, anxiety, ADHD, chronic pain and addictions.

“Dr. Simona Dobocan earned the highest level of credentials in her profession. She is board certified in both psychiatry and family medicine. Her experience spans from emergency, family and preventive medicine to psychiatry. She can address not only your psychiatric, but also some of your medical conditions.

Inna Dilman, PA-C

Inna Dilman is nationally certified and state licensed to practice medical and psychiatric care in the state of Illinois. She has over 10 years of experience in primary care including preventive, medical and mental health care. She has a special interest in treating anxiety, depression, ADHD, and insomnia. She believes  communication and collaboration with patient’s health care team is essential to achieve the best outcomes for the patients. 

Non-pharmacological Treatments and Interventions

Rebecca Arends, LCPC

Rebecca Arends earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Counseling from Northwestern University. She has been working with our group since 2008 and became very comfortable counseling clients who also take medications. Her approach is a combination of psychodynamic theory incorporated with cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), rational emotive behavioral therapy (REBT), and mindfulness practices.
